Westport hybrid guitar
Double neck electric guitar and bass. 1920's cigar humidor boxe, glass and stone inlays, glass and stone inlays, built-in strap.
The Westport is a hybrid between a cigar-box type guitar and an electric bass. It was built to be a family heirloom. This is a variation of the traditional cigar-box guitar, the humidor one has more depth and therefore gives you acoustic properties when unplugged as well, while still respecting the up-cycled nature of this family of instruments. The overlapping of bass strings and guitar strings along the "playable area" allows to pluck the bass strings while playing the guitar as they both both set in the same open tuning, giving you a broader pitch spectrum.
