Galacaster
Less extraction, more transformation.
Using homemade milk-based bioplastic and over a thousand eggshells, this electric guitar is inspired by the layered structure of oyster shells which is capable of withstanding constant pressure through accumulation, not mass.
I translated this principle into a thin instrument made from materials that are grown, reclaimed, and reimagined.
